Tuesday August 18

Today students went over the scavenger hunt (participation grade) and we set up our science folders that the students will keep in class for their daily class work.  They started bell ringers today and that will be a daily thing that they complete at the beginning of each class.  Bell Ringers are an example of the daily work that students will keep in their folders in class.

Syllabus Quiz tomorrow!

Monday August 17

We graded the syllabus questions the students worked on over the weekend.  The students learned how to calculate their scores but everyone received participation credit for completing the work. (35 points total).

There is a syllabus quiz on Wednesday.  Students have to score a 90% or higher.  If they do not, they will have to take the quiz again on Friday.  The syllabus contains all the information on how our science class works so if  a student does not know how, they will not be successful in class.

We also did a room scavenger hunt where the students learned where things were in the classroom.  We will be going over that tomorrow.  This will also be a participation credit grade.
